#A quiet place 2 ending movie

While we get to see how the Death Angels arrived on Earth, the sequel doesnвЂ™t delve into what planet theyвЂ™re originally from, how they navigated through space without being able to see, or why they decided to hunt here. #9: Where Exactly Did the Death Angels Come From? Lee quickly pieces together that these creatures have hypersensitive hearing, hence why the Abbotts fare better in this new world than some other townsfolk. While the first film strongly suggested that the Death Angels were aliens, the sequel cements their extra-terrestrial status as they fall from the sky. Lee soon realizes that this disaster isnвЂ™t limited to one location, as his town is suddenly attacked by Death Angels. As Lee goes about his business, he overhears a television report about some sort of disaster. In the sequelвЂ™s opening, we venture back to day 1. Although we only see the aftermath, the audience can sense through visuals alone that this town has been through hell. The original film kicks off 89 days into the alien invasion.

Then there are the smaller plot threads such as the first introduction of other humans such as the world-weary Emmett, the band of survivors who вЂњarenвЂ™t worth savingвЂќ who try to kidnap Regan, and the once-peaceful community now left without its leader after Djimon HounsouвЂ™s unnamed character is killed in the last act. Did the meteors that brought the monsters to Earth reallyВ crash down on every country? Or is there a chance that thereвЂ™s still a world out there that, for whatever reason, isnвЂ™t coming to the aid of the survivors? Additionally, the revelation that the monsters cannot swim potentially opens up the scale of what the audience was previously led to believe was the apocalypse. For one, Evelyn is still separated from her daughter, who also now has the power to take down the monsters and pull humanity back from the brink.

While itвЂ™s a relatively happy ending (save for the continued downfall of human civilization and all), it still does leave a few unanswered questions. Back in the bunker where Evelyn and Marcus are hiding, Marcus uses the radio to kill another monster that was hunting down him and his mother, with Evelyn and the now-deceased LeeвЂ™s (Krasinski) kids coming to the rescue of the adults. The monster wreaks havoc on the islandвЂ™s small community before Regan uses her now-fixed hearing aid to kill it while sending its noise across a radio signal. In the filmвЂ™s climax, one of the monsters makes its way to the island alongside Regan and Emmett, despite it being discovered that they cannot swim. A Quiet Place 2 concludes with Evelyn (Blunt) and Marcus (Noah Jupe) separated from Regan (Millicent Simmonds) and Emmett (Cillian Murphy), after the latter duo travel out to an island containing a peaceful community of survivors.
